Morning, meet your guide any place convenient for you and get a program full day program detail on what you are going to see . The Magnificent view of the Blue Nile Gorge lies 200 km north from Addis on a road to Bahirdar over the Entoto Mountains passing through Sululta plains. Drive to Blue Nile Gorge which is located at about 200 km from Addis Ababa and takes 3 to 4hours. On the way; visit to local farms and farm houses, Monkey, Baboon and other rural activity

The road that crosses the blue Nile and goes to Bahirdar, after 3-4hours drive on the highland, it begins to make dramatic stretches down in to the Blue Nile Gorge which is 1000m below, and this is the most spectacular scenery of the landscape of the area. It is an amazing view how the great Nile erodes the rock and forms spectacular landscape. The Gorge has 1 km depth comparable in scale to the American Grand Canyon .

Once you concluded the sightseeing tour of the Gorge While driving back to Addis, the next important sites to visit will be the Monastery of Debre Libanos, one of the sacred places among the Orthodox Christian religion followers .The monastery was founded in the 13th century by Abune Tekle Haymanot. Overlooking Jema River Gorge, the Monastery owns ecclesiastical, cultural and historical relics; here you have also a chance to see birds and baboons. Below the monastery there is a bridge which is called Portuguese bridge or Egg Bridge is another tourist site worth a visit. Lunch will be in one of the Lodges or from the Lunch box and late in the afternoon drive back to Addis Ababa.
